TS Galaxy technical team don’t know if confidence will be at the forefront of Abafana Bes’thende’s minds, when the two teams battle it out for the second time since October 26 at the Mbombela stadium in Mpumalanga.
Arrows’ 2-1 victory on that particular day, denying The Rockets a chance to climb up the Betway Premiership table will again this time have to double their efforts if they’re to take all the points.
Bafana Bafana and Abafana Bes’thende defender, Hulumani Ndamane said the Fifa break came at the right time so that they could have more time to improve their performance and correct those smaller mistakes they normally make at the back, allowing the opponents to reach their box.
“I believe for us to do well, we should first fix our defense. As defenders, we wouldn’t be happy if we allowed strikers to score against us,” said Ndamane.
He said they were coming to this game with a plan to upset Arrows, who are doing well at the moment under the leadership of coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
So both teams will take this match very seriously as points are at stake.
Both teams have collected sixteen points so far this season, though Arrows have played a game more.
Arrows are currently occupying the twelfth position on the PSL log table from 12 matches, while The Rockets are just below them, having played a game less.
The match will be on Sunday at Mbombela Stadium. Kickoff is at 3:30pm.

Club captain Mlungisi Mbunjana understands how tough the encounter will be, but they’re not going there focusing on individuals, but to stick to their plan to ensure that they are victorious on the day.
Adnan Beganovic, who has been in the helm for a year now since joining the team this month last year, said the Fifa break helped them manage to play friendly games in preparation for their upcoming league matches.
Most players who did not have game time were given 90 minutes to play, and those who are considered regulars in the team got a few minutes of play during those friendly matches. The aim was to try to rest most players, as they have very important games to play starting this Sunday with a tough encounter against Arrows at home.
He said not only are their players good mentally and physically, but they also have a strong team that can compete with the best in the league.
“Now we have a strong team, and Mbombela is our home ground, and we want to do everything, collect the three points and make our life easier.”
Said the coach:
