GET ARTY FOR CHARITY WITH HARRIET MANAMELA ON MOTHER’S DAY SIP AND PAINT!

Letlotlo Films, in collaboration with Motawane Productions, is proud to announce Mother’s Day ‘Sip and Paint’ gathering hosted by renowned actress, Harriet Manamela.

The thespian will be launching Adopt a Child charity initiative at Mekete Boutique and Events to take place in Polokwane on May 10 this year.
Adopt a Child initiative is more than conversation and painting art, it will build bonds, inspire creativity and bring joy to young hearts.

A special orphanage in Limpopo will be selected as a beneficiary for the event. Attendees will be paired with a child each for the day, sharing creativity, classic games such as morabaraba and laughter together.

“Our vision is simple but powerful: to make a child feel seen, valued, and loved through the universal language of art,” says Lebogang Monakedi, founder of Letlotlo Films.
The event promises a relaxed but meaningful programme, featuring ice-breakers, childhood games, a guided painting session, and moments of heartfelt connection.

“This is about planting seeds of hope, even in our busy schedules we have to make time to acknowledge that there’s someone out there who needs us to not just look but make them aware that we see them.

Each child deserves to feel that their dreams and creativity matter. Even one day of kindness and inspiration can light up a whole future.” says host, Ms Manamela who plays Meikie Maputla on Skeem Saam.
For every ticket sold, a child from a disadvantaged background will be sponsored to attend, while proceeds will be used towards a special goodie bag packed with treats and creative supplies for each child from the chosen orphanage. Light meals, refreshments, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere will complete the experience, especially for the children.
Donors and those interested in celebrating with Harriet and the children can buy tickets for R650 at Computicket, Checkers, Shoprite or Quicket.
