YOUNG people who lack education will have a hard time finding good jobs in future.
Children need to be exposed to these technologies as soon as possible because the integration of new technology into the curriculum is fantastic and everything will become digital.

Additionally, pupils who do not receive these technologies early on will find it difficult to adjust, so it is crucial that the Mzansi Department of Basic Education and the private sector introduce these technologies to pupils at an early age.
Michelle Lissoos, director of iStore Education & iSchoolAfrica, said the potential of Mzansi’s young people means nothing if they don’t get the support and the right opportunities.

Michelle told the media at Igugu Primary School on Wednesday. They were there to launch a Coding and Robotics Centre. The school is based in Mofolo Soweto.
Michelle said schools are often faced with challenges such as a lack of resources including books and overcrowded classes.
“In 2009, when iSchoolAfrica was established, our mission was simple: to give all youth the tools to thrive in a digital world – by bringing the world’s best technology and education practices to schools that wouldn’t necessarily have access,” said Michelle.

She said today that mission is brought to life once again through the generosity, vision and commitment of iStore.
“We started working with Igugu in 2020 – starting with a Digital Library . Great to also see that one of the original partners Vuma is also here today – continuing their commitment.”
