ORLANDO Pirates are not sitting on the summit of the Betway Premiership table just to give up the spot at the latest stages of the season.
Instead they want to go all the way to win league title for the first time in 13 years since 2011/12 season and make their supporters proud.
Pirates have been doing so very well in the past few seasons, finishing second behind the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns who have won the league title for a record eight times in a row.
This Saturday Pirates would want to keep the momentum of winning their games to open a big gap at the top to make teams teams behind them difficult to catch them.
They are playing at home against a very good side in the likes Marumo Gallants FC, a team that beat them 2-1 in the first round of the Betway Premiership away in Bloemfontein.
Now that Mabhakaniya have found their rhythm this time around, and they will want to blunt Marumo to ensure that they remain on top of the league for the remainder of the Betway Premiership season.
Mamelodi Sundowns so far have accumulated 32 points from 15 matches played, while Pirates have 35 points from the same number of matches.
If Pirates win tomorrow they are going to have 38 points with a game more.
And to close the gap Sundowns would have to beat Pirates on 18 February at FNB stadium.

But that’s not only what makes the Betway Premiership more exciting, and competitive. Supporters who attended Betway Premiership matches this season have been winning lots of cash from the gambling company, Betway.
