Kaizer Chiefs’ match against Lamontville Golden Arrows at home this evening is a test to determine where they stand among the top four in the Betway Premiership.

Chiefs won six games, drew the same number of matches and lost just once this season, setting a new record for the best start to a season in the Premier Soccer League.

The incredible start has Amakhosi dreaming of winning the league this year.
But before they can start thinking about lifting the Betway Premiership trophy this season, they must first start collecting maximum points, starting from tonight. Kickoff is at 19h30 at FNB Stadium.

While some teams are busy signing players this January to improve their squad, Amakhosi are not interested.

According to their head coach, Cedric Kaze, they are more than happy with the squad they currently have to challenge for the Betway Premiership honours.

If Chiefs win tonight, they will secure third place on the Betway Premiership log table, putting more pressure on the teams above them.

But it won’t make much of a difference to Arrows, who are sitting at the tenth position at the moment, from 14 matches played. If they win tonight, they will occupy the ninth position.

To help encourage fans to attend matches in big numbers, Betway in partnership with Ezimtoti News are giving away double tickets to the lucky readers to go attend tonight’s match between Amakhosi and Abafana Besthende. To win tickets, winners have to get the following question correct. WHO IS THE OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF MZANSI’S PREMIER SOCCER LEAGUE?
