South Africa is celebrating a remarkable achievement after 16-year-old Chrizmie Mostert, Miss Teen Universe South Africa 2025, was crowned the new Teen Model World 2026 at the prestigious international competition held in Bogotá, Colombia.
During the competition she participated in a fashion show for a renound designer as was chosen to be her showstopper model and had the honor to end off the runway with the designer.
Chrizmie, a dedicated 16 year old student at Curro Online School, represented South Africa on the world stage as delegates from countries across the globe gathered to compete for the coveted international title.
The competition was hosted by Gatsby Dominicana, Mini Model World Organization.
Her victory marks a significant milestone, making her one of the first South African Teen to claim an international title for Miss Teen Universe South Africa.
Chrizmie’s journey to international success began in March 2025 when she was crowned Miss Teen Universe South Africa 2025.
Throughout her reign, she distinguished herself as an outstanding ambassador for her country and title. During 2025, she also earned the prestigious Photogenic Title in the Junior Category among competitors from eight countries recognized by the Federation of Performing Arts South Africa (F.P.A.S.A.).
In addition to her pageantry achievements, Chrizmie proudly serves as the Official Perfume Ambassador for Miss Teen Universe South Africa, further strengthening her influence as a role model for young women.
Her preparation for the international competition was nothing short of exceptional.
Chrizmie collaborated with renowned designers in South Africa, DHL Dollhouse Emporium Rentals in Johannesburg, Rico Studios in Sandton, Bellinda Frackers (local designer in Newcastle) and from around the world, including FBI Wear from Nigeria, while her stunning finals gown was created through a special collaboration with a prestigious world renound Vietnam designer Louiz @louiztran.design.
Behind her success stood a dedicated support team. Accompanying her to Bogotá was her mother, who travelled alongside her throughout the international competition.
Chrizmie also received invaluable support from Warren Wade Photography, whose professional photography captured her journey as early as a finalist, beautifully, and Tasmiya of Makeup Maze, whose artistry ensured she looked her best throughout her reign.
As part of the Miss Teen Universe South Africa family, Chrizmie was also honoured with the organization’s distinguished Green MTUSA Honourary Blazer, recognizing her commitment, leadership, and dedication to representing South Africa with pride.
Looking ahead, Chrizmie’s new title of Teen Model World 2026 opens exciting international opportunities. She is scheduled to participate in prestigious fashion events including New York Fashion Week, Orlando Fashion Kids, Colombia Fashion Kids, and Punta Cana Fashion Kids, further expanding her global platform.
