Born in 1935 and trained by her mother and grandmother, Gogo Esther has become one of the world’s most respected African artists, showcasing her work in international museums, major collaborations, and cultural projects across continents.
At the Sandton unveiling, Gogo Esther stood proudly alongside guests as Superga revealed the limited-edition centenary sneaker collection. Her appearance added deep cultural meaning, blending global fashion with South African artistic heritage.
