The Superga store in Sandton City hosted a vibrant unveiling of the Superga HXH Centenary sneaker release, celebrating 100 years of the brand’s iconic 2750 model. The event was stylish, energetic, and filled with excitement as fashion lovers and media gathered to witness this special milestone.

The highlight of the day was the presence of South African art legend Gogo Esther Mnguni, globally known for her colourful Ndebele designs. Born in 1935 and trained by her mother and grandmother, Gogo Esther has become one of the world’s most respected African artists, showcasing her work in international museums, major collaborations, and cultural projects across continents.

At the Sandton unveiling, Gogo Esther stood proudly alongside guests as Superga revealed the limited-edition centenary sneaker collection. Her appearance added deep cultural meaning, blending global fashion with South African artistic heritage. Photos captured her with family and attendees, celebrating a moment that honoured both her legacy and the brand’s long history.
