One of the most electrifying moments of the night came when Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma received a top Lifetime/Continental Icon honour. Her message captured the heart of the evening , a call for Africa to rise with intention, unity and ownership.
In her powerful address, she reminded guests that Africa’s next chapter depends on bold, collective action:
“Africa is richly blessed. We cannot continue giving away our strength. Our resources, our youth, our women, they are the engines of the future. It is time to turn the tide.”
She emphasized the need for the continent to process its own minerals, build industries, and empower the next generation to lead confidently on the world stage.
The Iconic Global Summit & Honors 2025 ultimately delivered more than awards, it delivered a renewed sense of mission. The energy, elegance and ambition in the room echoed a shared belief: Africa’s transformation is not a dream; it is a responsibility. And it begins now.
