Mzansi pupils can only achieve success if they’re exposed to career initiatives like these.

Such opportunities broaden their understanding of the wide range of careers available, help them identify their interests, talents, and strengths. This was the evident when grade 11&12 pupils from West Rand schools attended career expo in their area last Saturday.

Christ Can International Church which is based in Kagiso 2 organised the expo to empower young people with knowledge, and confidence to make informed decisions about their future.

Grade 12 pupils were encouraged to apply early to Universities, TVET Colleges, and other higher learning institutions.

Media personality Samora Mangesi, who was also there to support the initiative, said pupils needed to be passionate about learning. “Listening to the speakers today, I was inspired by their powerful messages they shared. They encouraged these pupils, not only to become the best vision of themselves, but also for them to pursue careers that give them purpose,” he said.

Founder of Christ Can International Church, prophet Johan Dala, expressed his gratitude for overwhelming response from learners, and encouraged them not to allow their circumstances to define their future:

“It’s very important to have a positive mindset, even though you come from poor disadvantaged backgrounds,” he said. According to Dala, he was saying all this to make them, stand-up and ask for help.
