TAKEALOT HOUSE OF BEAUTY RETURNS-JOHANNESBURG EVENT SELLS OUT IN RECORD TIME

The excitement around beauty, lifestyle and entertainment has reached new heights as the Takealot House of Beauty prepares for its highly anticipated return to Johannesburg. Scheduled to take place from 24-26 April 2026 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, the anniversary edition has already sold out in record time, proving once again that the event has become South Africa’s premier beauty experience.

Following the phenomenal success of two sold-out events in 2025, this third edition marks exactly one year since the inaugural event, making Johannesburg the symbolic home for the milestone celebration.
According to Karla Levick, the overwhelming demand reflects a growing appetite for immersive beauty experiences in the country.

“The consecutive sell-out success of our House of Beauty events demonstrates the incredible appetite for experiential beauty shopping in South Africa. Returning to Johannesburg for our anniversary edition feels like coming home, this is where it all began,” she said.
The move to the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit allows for the largest edition yet, featuring an unprecedented lineup of global and local beauty powerhouses including L’Oréal Paris, Estée Lauder, Clarins, Cetaphil, Revlon and The Ordinary, alongside a variety of beloved local brands.

But the celebration extends beyond beauty, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere.
South African media personality Bonang Matheba will also return with House of BNG, offering exclusive access to her sold-out Mimosa Nectar launch. Meanwhile, the popular “silent disco” masterclasses will once again give attendees the opportunity to learn directly from leading beauty experts through immersive wireless-headphone sessions.

Food and convenience will also play a major role, with Mr D serving as the official food and restaurant partner, while TakealotNOW enables instant product collection within minutes of purchase during the event.

Adding further excitement, Absa Group returns with Absa Rewards, offering members 30% cashback on all event spending when paying with their Absa cards.

Executive Alicia Raynard emphasised that the partnership goes beyond shopping.
“When purpose and collaboration align, we create value that transcends the moment for our customers. Our collaboration with Takealot House of Beauty reflects our belief that empowerment is both a financial journey and a lifestyle experience. At Absa Rewards, beauty isn’t just something you enjoy, it’s something that rewards you, helping every choice become a smarter, more confident step forward.”

Technology will also take centre stage this year with Xiaomi joining as the official technology partner. Sales Director Joey Lee says the brand will showcase innovative beauty tech experiences and interactive activations, including a dynamic scooter challenge.

With tickets disappearing almost instantly, the Takealot House of Beauty continues to prove why it remains South Africa’s most anticipated beauty event, bringing together beauty lovers, influencers and industry professionals for an unmatched celebration of self-expression and innovation.

All featured brands and products remain available year-round on Takealot’s beauty platform.
