VAAL KOTA FESTIVAL SERVES UP PRIDE, FLAVOUR AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT

TO be regarded as a nation that truly takes pride in its food, we need to organise more festivals that celebrate our local cuisine.

That is exactly what the Vaal Kota Festival wants to see – bringing people together through food while celebrating the rich flavours and culture of our communities.

For many years, the community of Vanderbijlpark in the Vaal Triangle has been coming together to celebrate festivals like this one today, turning food into more than just a meal, but a celebration of community, culture and local talent.

Thousands of young people, who made up the majority of the crowd, flocked to the Emerald Hotel, forming long queues as they eagerly waited to get inside and watch their favourite artists perform live on stage. The excitement was high as fans looked forward to performances from some of their favourite artists, including Ringo, among others. With good food, refreshing drinks and live entertainment, the atmosphere was filled with excitement as the crowd prepared for a memorable experience.

When I compare the taste of the Kotas sold at the Emerald Hotel to those sold in Joburg, there’s still a lot that needs to be done to make them taste more like the ones we’re used to in Joburg. The prices also didn’t always match what we saw on the menus.

Other than that, everything went well, and so far, it was a successful event. One thing I really liked about the people of the Vaal was the good vibes and the respect they showed to everyone they met. The energy was positive, and that made the experience even better.

GOOD FOOD !!!!! GOOD LADIES!!!
