Nomvano Precious Maduma, popularly known as Mvanakazi, recently hosted a successful fundraising event in preparation for an upcoming awards ceremony scheduled to take place later this month.
The Coffee with Mvanakazi campaign was held at Old Hardware, on the corner of Cetshwayo and Otlega Drive in Mogale City, on Saturday, 1 August 2026.
The atmosphere was filled with joy, praise and worship as church members, stakeholders, community members and invited guests gathered to enjoy coffee while supporting the fundraising initiative.
The primary objective of the fundraiser was to raise funds for the awards ceremony, which will recognise and honour church leaders, gospel artists and community leaders who continue to make a positive impact across West Rand communities. Coffee, scones and biscuits were sold during the event, with attendees responding enthusiastically by supporting the cause.
Addressing the audience, Mvanakazi Foundation founder, Nomvano Precious Maduma, shared an inspiring message:
“Do not worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Do what you can today, for tomorrow may not come.”
She explained that the initiative is committed to recognising the outstanding contributions of church leaders, gospel artists, emerging talents and long-serving industry figures whose dedication continues to inspire and uplift communities.
Pastor Mdumiso Paul Mdaka also highlighted the importance of the fundraising initiative.
“The fundraising event helped the organisation raise funds to achieve its goal of honouring and recognising gospel artists, community leaders and pastors. The money raised will go towards organising the awards ceremony and providing prizes for winners in the various categories.”
Participants immersed themselves in a spirit of worship, praise and fellowship while enjoying coffee and refreshments. The event not only strengthened community bonds but also successfully raised funds for the upcoming celebration of excellence and service within the West Rand community.
